Accordance Dispute Resolution LLP is the premiere dispute resolution firm in Victoria and across British Columbia focusing on mediation, negotiation facilitation, arbitration and workplace investigations to resolve business, family, shareholder, and workplace disputes. We mediated and arbitrated a number of cases to resolution including a long running family dispute over a successful chain of businesses as well as a shareholder dispute involving early investors of a tech company.

We are located in the historic Law Chambers Building in Bastion Square built in 1901 and designed by renowned architect Francis Rattenbury who also designed the British Columbia Legislature.

At Accordance we use our fine-tuned Mediated Settlements Process or as with arbitrations design the process with the input of the parties and the applicable arbitration rules to drive resolution at each step of the process. Contact us to learn more.


About Our Principal

Marco Francesco Lilliu is an award-winning Harvard-trained Mediator, Oxford-trained Arbitrator, and Workplace Investigator focused on resolving family, business, corporate, and workplace disputes. Prior to devoting himself to dispute resolution, Marco previously worked as a Federal Prosecutor, and as business, corporate, workplace and family litigation lawyer for 12 years and has owned a number of businesses over the years as well.

Marco has led a number of successful business, family, workplace, and corporate shareholder mediations and arbitrations spanning various issues such as shareholder agreement disputes, contractual disputes, family asset division, spousal support, and business partner disputes.

Before moving to Victoria in 2021 and opening Accordance Dispute Resolution LLP, he practiced as a lawyer, mediator and arbitrator in Vancouver for a boutique downtown law firm and for the Department of Justice Canada within Public Prosecution, Aboriginal Litigation, National Defence & Security and the Business & Regulatory sections.
