Accordance Dispute Resolution LLP is the premiere dispute resolution firm in Victoria, Vancouver and across British Columbia focusing on mediation, arbitration, and med-arb to resolve business, estate, family, shareholder, and workplace disputes. Our principal, Marco Abruzzi, has mediated and arbitrated numerous of cases to resolution including a long running family disputes, shareholder disputes, wills & estates and workplace interventions.
We are located in the historic Law Chambers Building in Bastion Square built in 1901 and designed by renowned architect Francis Rattenbury who also designed the British Columbia Legislature.
At Accordance, we use our fine-tuned Mediated Settlements Process or as with arbitrations design the process with the input of the parties and the applicable arbitration rules to drive resolution at each step of the process. Contact us to learn more below.
About Our Principal
Marco Abruzzi is an award-winning Harvard-trained Mediator and Oxford-trained Arbitrator, focused on resolving family, business, corporate, and workplace disputes. Prior to devoting himself full-time to mediation and arbitration, Marco worked as a Crown Counsel with the Department of Justice, Business & Regulatory Sectiion, Aboriginal Affairs, and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans working on regulating dams and run of river projects. He was also been business, corporate, workplace and family litigation lawyer for 10 years and has owned a number of businesses over the years as well.
Marco has led a number of successful business, family, workplace, and corporate shareholder mediations and arbitrations spanning various issues such as shareholder agreement disputes, contractual disputes, family asset division, spousal support, and business partner disputes.
Before moving to Victoria in 2022 and opening Accordance Dispute Resolution LLP, he practiced as a lawyer, mediator and arbitrator in Vancouver for a boutique downtown law firm.
